Jina Jay is an English casting director based in London.
Jina Jay trained with Patsy Pollock and started casting with the patronage of John Boorman, Mike Figgis and Tim Bevan.
Her credentials include Steven Spielberg’s War Horse (starring David Kross, German Shooting Star 2009), Ralph Fiennes’ Coriolanus (with Lubna Azabal, Belgium Shooting Star 2004), Stephen Daldry’s The Reader ( with David Kross, German Shooting Star 2009) and Anna Karenina by Joe Wright, starring the 2011 Shooting Stars, Alicia Vikander (Sweden), Domhnall Gleeson (Ireland) and Bill Skarsgård (Shooting Star, Sweden 2012).
Jina Jay is a member of the American Academy and BAFTA and was on the 2012 Jury for the BIFA’s.
