Jose Villeta is a Software Engineering Director.

Previously at Disney Jose Villeta was the Senior Director of Technology for the Disney Interactive Kids, Casual and Social games and apps and worked and directed the Disney Infinity franchise. He has over 25 years of game industry experience.
Before joining Disney, Jose directed original as well as licensed properties while working at Heavy Iron Studios as Studio Technical Director for THQ’s Ratatouille, WALL-E and UP Disney/Pixar titles in addition to THQ's Sponge Bob: Truth or Squared Nickelodeon title. Prior to THQ, Jose worked at Black Ops Entertainment as VP of Research & Development. Highlights include Ubisoft’s AND 1 Streetball, Fox’s X-FILES: Resist or Serve, Atari’s Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Activision’s Street Hoops, EA’s James Bond: The World is Not Enough and Tomorrow Never Dies titles, EA SPORTS’ Knockout Kings and March Madness titles, Dreamworks’ Warpath: Jurassic Park, Namco’s Treasures of the Deep and Virgin’s Black Dawn and Agile Warrior titles.
Jose is an alumnus from Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor Of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 1990.
In 1992 he earned a Master of Science degree at The George Washington University in Aeronautical Engineering.
He resides in Santa Monica, California, United States.
