General info :
Basil Iwanyk (born 4 January 1970 as Basil William Iwanyk) is an American film producer.
He is the founder of Thunder Road Media Services, Inc and Thunder Road Film Productions, Inc., film and television financing and production companies, based in Los Angeles, California.

Mr. Iwanyk, who grew up in Spring Lake, N.J., and attended Villanova University, started his Hollywood career the typical way: working in the mailroom of a talent agency. Warner hired him in 1995 as a low-level development executive, promoting him two years later to vice president for production, where he helped shepherd films like “Ocean’s Eleven.

In 2000 he took a job as president of production at Intermedia Films, but had returned to Warner with a producer’s deal by 2003, naming his production shingle Thunder Road, after the Bruce Springsteen song.

Basil Iwanyk’s winning stretch started in April 2010 with “Clash of the Titans,” which earned more than $490 million at the global box office. Then came an executive producer credit on “The Expendables,” the Sylvester Stallone vehicle, which has earned almost $250 million. Capping it off: “The Town,” a bank robbery caper that cost just $37 million to make and is holding strong at the box office, taking in about $64 million in its first three weeks in domestic release.
