Laia Garcia-Furtado (born in Puerto Rico) is an editor and writer.
She has worked as a freelance print editor for Dazed and Interview Magazine, and is a contributing editor at Vogue (US).
Her first book, Psychic Taste, was published by Von Zos on February 2019.
She was the features director at Garage until it was shut down in early 2021.


Laia has also worked as a stylist, and in 2017, she collaborated with Hilton Als on a James Baldwin-inspired portfolio for the Paris review.

She is alumna from the Philadelphia University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design in 2006.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she now lives in Brooklyn, New York..
