Angelo Rizzoli, named "Angelone" (12 November 1943, Como, Italy - 11 December 2013, Rome , Italy) was an Italian entrepreneur, publisher, film producer and television personality.
He was the son of Andrea Rizzol, president of largest Italian publishing group during the seventies, a company he would join at the age of 28 and direct from 1978 on. In 1984 however the company would face bankrupcy.
During the nineties, after a long period of silence, Angelo Rizzoli resumes activity as a film and television producer.
His latest film production was the film Si Può Fare, with Claudio Bisio (2008).
On 14 February 2013 he was arrested in Rome on charges of fraudulent bankruptcy, got house arrest and died shortly after.
He graduated from the University of Pavia where he earned a degree in Political Science and later earned a specialization in Media and Communications at Columbia University in New York.
